In this post, I am going to tell you about some foods you should not eat to lose weight. Please, NOW BEWARE, some of this food will be your very favorite food in the world.
But let me tell you this. THE FOODS ARE VERY BAD FOR YOU AND YOUR WEIGHT. Yes, that’s correct, you read it right. Not only will they not be suitable for your health. They will also be wrong, and I do mean bad for adding lbs to the scale readings.

To eat right, we need to watch the three types of things in the food that we will eat.

Now in case you were not aware, salt is nasty for us indeed, especially if we are trying to lose weight naturally. It is bad enough when it is already in the foods that we eat.
So there is no way that we should be adding extra salt to the foods that already contain it. That is nothing but madness if you think about it. Yes?

There are some foods that we most like on the list. Although, nevertheless, they are awful for us.
I also say in the article; they are not all terrible for us. It is just that a lot of people choose to add salt to these foods. And that will be no way to lose weight fast and safely. In no way at all. Why? Because too much salt, as I say, is terrible for your health.

They are some of the more common ones.
Sugar
The next type of foods you should not eat to lose weight is anything SUGARY. That is another horrible thing for our weight. Why is it wrong for our weight, you may wonder? It is what they call “Empty calories.”
That will mean that when you eat foods with a lot of sugar, or even when you add sugar. The sugar contains a massive amount of calories but has no proper nutrients in it.
Hence the words “Empty calories.”
For example –
- Candy
- chocolate
- Most of the soft drinks
We eat some fructose in fruits. However, the fructose in the sugar that we add to the foods sometimes goes on to our liver. That can cause fatty liver disease. The medical people call this non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. (1)
Eating a lot of sugar causes the body’s insulin levels to rise. That can create forms of the deadly disease, cancer. So, as much as you may like sweet, cheap foods. It is best to avoid eating them.
The sugar that we eat will also cause an increase in the levels of something that they call dopamine. (A hormone) That works the reward center of the brain. Have you ever heard anyone say that they have not had their chocolate fix, for example? Yes. It is highly addictive.
So now, are you starting to see why sugar is terrible for you as a whole?
Although sugar tastes great, it also raises your cholesterol. That can lead to heart disease. And I am sure that you do not want this. So, go easy on your intake of the stuff, yes?
But Why Is It Bad For Weight Loss
As I say, sugar causes a rise in the insulin levels of the body. The body then goes on to store it as something they call “glycogen.” That can be bad for us, because if we are not very active. Then, the body will store the glycogen that we do not use for energy, as fat. Exactly, FAT.
In other words, if you are very active anyway, then you will not be overweight. However, if you are inactive, then you will get fatter eating these sweet JUNK FOODS.
It is a no-win situation.
Foods that are high in sugar are –

- Ketchup
- BBQ sauce
- When the coffee has an extra flavor
- Iced-tea
- Smoothies in a bottle
- Baked beans in a can
- Fruit in a box
The above are some of the more common ones for which we should have a concern.
The third one to be aware of are certain fats. You must remember, not all fats are bad for you. However, there are 2 of them that are bad or you. These being trans-fats and fats that are from saturates.
The two bad fats that I say are what cause a lot of diseases that we can get.
The saturated fat –
- ice cream
- Cheese
- Full-fat cheese
- Lard
- Whole milk
- Butter
- And fatty meat such as bacon and greasy sausages.
Overeating/many of these will mean that you will pile on the lbs, and in a big way.
Another kind of fat that is not only bad for our health but also our weight are trans-fats. –
- Breakfast sandwiches that you can buy.
- Microwave popcorn.
- Doughnuts (These are very bad)
- Any candy which will have a cream filling
- Stick or tub margarine
- Crackers
- Biscuit (These, too, are common but bad).
- Cookies
- Pies
- And finally, all the cakes are VERY BAD for us.
Although temptation will always come our way, it is excellent if you learn how to bridge the gap between meals.
